Christophe de Fitte
Chief Executive Officer
Christophe de Fitte was appointed as CEO in January 2014.
He joined GCE from Sandvik where he served as President of Sandvik Hard Materials from July 2011 to December 2013 and as President of Safety Cutting Tools from September 2008 to July 2011. Prior to Sandvik, he was General Manager of Barnes Distribution, France from December 2001 to August 2008.
Christophe started his career in 1988 selling electrical flameproof equipment to mines and refineries for Legrand in South Africa and later managed Legrand’s subsidiary in Australia. He left Legrand in August 1999 to join Panduit as EMEA Distribution Development Manager until November 2001.
Christophe holds a Masters degree in International Law from Sorbonne University in Paris and a degree in Political Sciences from the University of Lyon.
